It would be nice to have more information regarding the photo's, why are those women standing around, what are they waiting for, the cattle market how often did they have one, etc., It would be nice to know if there are any lovely parks to go to.I see you are still working on this site and I look forward to coming back when it is finished. Comment: nice to see some more improvements. as a previous resident, who returns occasionally,i can say it is nice to hear about the changes without having to wait for a report from family peterlee is a lovely town and is finally starting to get some notice. will see if i can find any photos from when i lived there (83` - 93`)

Comment: Good site. I left Peterlee in February 1963. My father was mine survayor at Trimdon Grange and my mother had the hairdressers in the town centre. My grand parents lived in Lowhills Road. I have visited the town once since leaving. My father was from Easington and my mother from Hordon. I will keep checking the site for updates. I now live in Cape Town.
